Night Paddling

This is what a 12m long waka with the legal requirement of a single all round white light looks like at night, to other boaties.
I got a reminder tonight to take the headlamps on the waka, it is easy to forget when its still daylight and you are heading out.
The more lights the better, especially ones on your head, as the light will move while you are paddling, and help us to be seen in the dark.
